RJC 26th Students' Council Presents:

"2017"
A J2 Time Capsule Project

1. What does "Raffles" mean to you?
2. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

Rationale:
Initiated by the Welfare Dept, "2017" aims to to provide the J2 batch with an avenue for self-reflection of their 2 years of JC life, as well as to record and archive the 18 year-old thoughts and faces of the 07 batch, and what Raffles means to each one of us.

Procedure:
Representatives of each class would speak in front of the video camera individually and answer the two questions posed above. The filming location would be an empty classroom, and each person has a maximum air time of 1 minute. The J2 can choose to say or do whatever he or she wishes to in front of the camera, which would be fixed on a tripod.

Instructions for CT Reps:

Nominate at least 5 representatives from your class to come down for the video shoot at the allocated time slot indicated in the attached Word document.
These representatives should meet outside the council room at their allocated timeslot.
As there is a tight schedule to be followed, punctuality is absolutely necessary.
Direct all queries to wangting@rjcstudentscouncil.org.

so. interested personels pls volunteer... or well ppl will be volunteered anyway :)

somebody in charge of the weather decided to be funny today. morning was so cold and comfortable and now its so hot and humid. tmd. was sitting at my table spacing out when i accidentally fell asleep coz of the heat. then almost banged my head against the desk lol

so CTs are over. another chapter of RJ closed (and good riddance too). but shucks that means ever closer to that A levels (now that realli doesnt need to come at all).
so now we're all in the blissful state of post CTs pre CTs results kind of days. wonderful.
(ok lets ignore the mcq chem questions) and sources say that we'll get back econs results (at least the essay) tmr coz ms lee has finished marking >< (dont look so surprised. everyone has a first time in doing something fast)

btw me and wenhao have a new CTs-inspired career. its...

and ω=(2π)/t -------- (2)

and from (2), ωt=2π, --> 2π=ωt -------(3)
so sub (3) into (1),
we get ω=ωtf! (shown)

ok theres a simpler explantion for this. since f x t = 1 (yes it is. for noobs pls see second theorem below), so ω= 1 x ω = ωtf :)

the second theorem (the not so great one for non physics students, can also be called noobs :D)

f = frequency = 1/t ----(1)
t = time = t ------------(2)

so we do (2) times (1),
tf = t x 1/t = t/t = 1 :)

speaking of maths ct, im officially daoing wenhao now if he talks about maths >< 15 minutes b4 the end of paper he had time to walk slowly to the toilet and walk slowly back :S and with that smudge look on his face (ok la maybe i imagined this :p)

first thing he said when the test was over.. "aiya so easy everyone will get like A la"

apparently he mugged till 5am this morning for maths.
okok queue up if you wanna whack him :)

new phenomenom noticed.. usually when tests end, the teachers have to start scolding ppl to keep quiet. somehow today everyone was very quiet :) either everyone's dead or everyone's secretly celebrating (oh noos better not be this)

and since im too lazy to blog i shall just kope this rant and paste in on my blog. tada such a genius i plagarise my own stuff wow :)

wah econs ct kena bombed. din realli studied alot la to be honest but erm still kena bombed. i mean.. how to study for 1 year of J1 topics and 2 topics from j2. and for a common test :S

and more importantly last night, (which incidentally has been proven by past experience to be the most efficient time to mug last minute), phantom of the opera was on tv!! :) so man how am i supposed to study when i have to watch the super nice show??

its like erm.. for ppl who watch that gay (ahem. gay ... ... means uh.. happy) show hua yang shao nian shao nu, tonite is the da jie ju. of course must watch. but luckily tmr no test haha can do intensive maths tmr (oops sry bio ppl have fun disecting your paper)

and after the CTs i must go bi guan to lian gong already :p suddenly realised how much i dont know oops

yesterday went orchard ngee an with the clar j2 ppl coz yanjin supposed to treat us to lunch :) ate very nice and spicy la mian at crystal jade yay :)

but erm somehow in the end i think they guys paid more than her :p coz of wad erm lemme think got xiao long bao, some raddish thingy, venezia icecream, cheese hotdogs and stuff :p

haha okay nvm we are all nice ppl and yiheng treat yanjin is like tian jin di yi de shi :) she's getting more and more obvious with her hints liao but yiheng is just blatantly ignoring all that :) maybe coz her love polygon is too complex liao lol. maybe if she dumps dave first...

so anyway after eating of course bu shuang to go home wad (except shuan so hardworking rush off to school to mug... ok maybe coz a certain enyi is waiting for him??) so went to top floor to play bridge... then err play bridge le still not enough then somemore getting very hot so went down again to find stuff to eat.

long time never go orchard liao lol but nvm will never get lost one. the girls know orchard road like liao ru zhi zhang liddat.. blindfold them and i bet they also know their way around backwards.

ok i shall go mug now. suddenly hit me this morning thats its FRIDAY OMG and common test starts next week

yay got my old cam working :)

see the original toufu :) cute green and cuddly. and permanently being koped by my sis.
plop is from the class, splash is from jasmine dearest sl (??!! cough cough splutter splutter), octupus from yj and emm innocent guest players (more coughing and spluttering) with a wish to see boys adorned with flowers, tortoise (or turtle i dunno) from cal and toufu from the j1s :)

and and chocs also very important! but no one so free take photos of chocs. zhao jiu chi diao le :)

and many flowers :) somehow all are red coincidentally :)
(yes the flower is drinking the F&N orange. so greedy)

yay free lunch on thursday at ajisen :) took us like how many hours to argue that out over a crazy msn convo yesterday :)

yaaay one long week finally over!! thx to everyone who came for atempo ^^ and thx for the flowers :) hehe roses are nice :) and the orange little erm orange from the class is so cute! :) so jasmine conveniently claimed it as hers
"oh and plop the orange :p. he is so cute!! plop :) he's mine. i just lent it to mervin to bring home ^^."

o and got a nice blue dolphin from jasmine :) and er a nice blue octopus from emm and yj and a nice toufu pudding from the j1s :)

ok seeing that im very lazy to get my cam out this is from jasmine's blog. but mine is green :) and cuter :p
so must explain the important diff between mine and hers. tofu is pink and cuddly. toufu is green and cuddly :)

and the blue dolphing is mine!! :) called splash
(conveniently named after the hopeless magikarp move)

the clar section! j2s and j3s :) i hate it when everyone's eyes glows. like we all monster or something :)

so erms very happy its finally over. but very sad its the very last concert the j2s will be playing together le :( sigh and we forgot to take j1 j2 section photo! lousy sl :p
but yiheng and me were analyzing the situation in the changing room after concert.. if we play well for syf, we get gold with honours. if we play better, we get into presentation! yay then we have another concert :)

ok must go get more photos from the class. but kinda busy now shall go msn. ppl owe me yh and shaun lunch coz we put flowers in our hair and looked stupid. but yay get free lunch hahaha ok :)

phew wah just reached home a while ago.. just now had pac rehearsal for the real concert and of course it dragged on and on and on thx to difficulties arising from here there everywhere..

and after that erms hehe of course dont feel like going home yet lor so most the of batch go out to eat and me bengoh yanjing emmaline decided to play bridge (it was MOST definitely after 5) in the canteen. surprising number of ppl stay back in school worx dunno wad they doing.. but most left after a while la just 4 no lifers sitting in the canteen at 9pm playing bridge :)

first time i realli appreciate the 7-11 in school.. got to eat instant noodles for dinner if not realli starve by the time finish playing bridge. o yes speaking of 7-11 and instant noodles, judging by the amount of ri kids (kids: ppl younger than me) coming over to buy instant noodles everyday, im beginning to wonder whether
1. they've never seen a 7-11
2. they've never eaten instant noodles
3. the ri canteen food is REALLI that bad
4. instand noodles are realli that good

poor things. but so annoying crowd up the whole place.

o but got some og dam enthu when we left they still in the amphi talking wow :)

so yes feeling very tired now and tmd (wah long time no use) there's school tmr. pissy. major annoyment. and GP test was realli energy sapping .. ok dont talk about it. go sleep :)

ok dont want to imagine how woohan and matthew look like now oop :)

and was reading some joke site full of band jokes just now so darn funny omg. me and jasmine trying not to go crazy now. shall compile that site nicely one day too many jokes inside some realli cmi cannot understand de :)

ok next week going to be some bomb. monday physics spa, tuesday chem test, wednesday GP common test, wednesday band, thursday band, friday concert, saturday concert!

and thats not counting buying uniform and accesories for concert, buying presents for concert (some realli annoying rgs band tradition) stressing over it... and oyes nandita just kindly reminded me chem test due on monday. and need to hand in physics practical too! :(

wahhhh if i dont drown in crap i come blog again some time soon.

and yes CONCERT. COME COME COME COME COME.
its conveniently staged in school performing arts centre so that its easier for ppl to come (though ok mainly coz school dont allow external concert in syf year la) and its only 7 bucks! and we all need a break after the GP common test and music (widely proven in research) is a very good stress reliever (unlike watching shuai guys like a certain QUAN otherwise known as WU ZUN which just makes you more stressed coz you know there are countless other girls vying for him too)

and we know that by the paradox of thrift we should all spend money now so that in the future the economy will be better and we will all benefit yay! (haha feels good to take h2 econs?) but dont ask me to explain its too complicated you wont understand (ok fine i dont either) but just take it that its true la can..

and for the harmoc ppl, the harmoc chair is playing too! as guest player. so everyone in harmoc should be morrally obliged to come support her if not so bad to her rite.... (yes right dont argue :p)
and for gavel club we're having them as emcees so you should come too maybe can pick up a thing or 2 about speaking.
and for AV matthew is helping us with it so yes yet another reason to come down and watch the spectacular lightings in the PAC!
and RI is guest playing on saturaday..so um ehh.... hmm wait i shall think of a reason for this as an incentive later..

so. plenty of reasons to come. oh did i mention im playing in the concert too :) okok i know i know stop fighting for the tickets.
